Best of Wałęsa: the man and the mustache

The image that was initially posted, although recent, did not fully exhibit the awesomeness that was Wałęsa. Here are some of the best images out on the internet all in one convenient post.

Here is a classic Wałęsa from the early 80s taken from the Nobel Prize website. Note that his handlebar drooped much lower than it does at present.

Here, Wałęsa shows us his devil-may-care personality, combining both the characteristically hippy peace sign and the characteristically bad-boy cigarette in the corner of the mouth.

Here, Wałęsa has swapped the cigarette in the previous photo for a wooden pipe. It--in combination with the white shirt, navy blue jacket, and of course his handlebar mustache--makes him look like a sea captain.

And finally, here we have our moustachioed hero playing ping pong with his tongue peeking out from below his mighty handlebar.
